EvLeaks shows Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro with removable battery
The official renders and a spec sheet of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro smartphone have been put online by smartphone leaker Evan Blass. The sturdy water-resistant device has a 6.6 “screen and has a removable 4050 mAh battery.
The XCover 6 Pro has a 6.6″ display with 20:9 ratio, FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, according to the data that EvLeaks has put online† The device has an IP68 rating, which means that the phone can be submerged 1.5 meters deep for half an hour. A fingerprint scanner is incorporated into the power button on the side.
The device is equipped with Android 12, a 6nm soc with eight cores, 6GB ram and 128GB flash storage. Like other recent Galaxy XCover devices, the new model has a removable battery. Users can also expand the storage memory with a microSD card.
On the back is a 50-megapixel camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera with an 8-megapixel sensor. The front camera has a 13-megapixel resolution. The device has a USB-C and pogopin connection to charge the phone.
The XCover 6 Pro has dimensions of 168.8×79.9×9.9mm and a weight of 235 grams. It is not yet known whether Samsung will also release a smaller version of the XCover 6. Last year’s XCover 5 with 5.3″ screen was one of the smallest Android smartphones.
Samsung has not yet announced anything about the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. According to Sammobile the device will be officially presented on July 13, together with the sturdy Tab Active 4 tablet.
