EvLeaks shows images of Fitbit Charge 5 with color screen
Apparently official renders of the Fitbit Charge 5 have come online. The images show that the new wearable from the Google subsidiary will have a color screen that has rounded corners.
Like the Fitbit Luxe introduced in April, the Fitbit Charge 5 will have a screen with rounded corners, according to the renders that Evan Blass on his Twitter account @evleaks has put. There are glossy panels on the edges of the wearable. It seems that these are elements for capacitive touch control. The Fitbit Charge 4, which came out in April last year for 150 euros, also had such a control.
The controls are larger on the Charge 5 and the color screen is also new. The predecessor has a monochrome screen. Further details about the specifications and capabilities of the Fitbit Charge 5 are not yet known. The predecessor is a water-resistant fitness watch with built-in GPS and Spotify controls.
It is not yet known when the Fitbit Charge 5 will be officially announced. It will be the third Fitbit wearable after the Ace 3 and Luxe since the acquisition of the company by Google was completed.
