Evleaks: HTC One M10 Perfume gets amoled screen
HTC’s successor to the One M9 will have a 5.1″ screen with amoled panel and a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, claims Evleaks. The device would be known internally as ‘Perfume’ and probably as One M10 on the market.
The HTC One M10 will include a fingerprint reader integrated into the home button, claims Evan Blass on Venture Beat. Blass is also behind the Twitter account @evleaks and thus regularly reports smartphone information at an early stage, almost always correctly. He bases this time on a source who has had the device in his hands and who states that the HTC Perfume seemed to be an amoled screen.
In addition, the device would contain a ’12-Ultrapixel’ camera with laser autofocus. HTC already used Ultrapixel cameras on previous One devices, but not the M9. With this concept, the sensor consists of relatively few pixels, but the individual pixels are larger than average, which should have a positive influence on the quality.
The smartphone will continue to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Sense 8.0 and will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with Adreno 530, the claim is. This soc would be combined with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage memory. Not much else is known about the design. Evleaks let himself earlier drop out that “If you like the A9, you’ll love the M10”, but it is not clear whether he is talking about the appearance. HTC will probably only introduce the smartphone after Mobile World Congress next month.
