EVGA Introduces SuperNova Line of 80Plus Titanium Power Supplies
EVGA has announced new additions to its SuperNova line of power supplies. The SuperNova T2 series already contained a 1600 watt version and is now also available in 750, 850 and 1000 watts. The three power supplies have an 80Plus Titanium label.
EVGA claims that all three power supplies have an efficiency of 94 percent or greater, with an efficiency of 96 percent or greater under average load. The figures from Plug Load Solutions, the party that distributes the certificates, show that the average efficiency is 94 percent at average load and 95 percent at fifty percent load. As a result, all three receive the 80Plus Titanium certificate. Furthermore, the additions to the SuperNova series are completely modular. The existing 12V line can supply up to 83.3A in the 1000W version, up to 70.8A in the 850W version and up to 62.4A in the 750W version.
All three power supplies are equipped with a 140mm fan, which, according to EVGA, is completely silent at temperatures below 45 degrees. Even under 20 percent load, the fan will not make any noise according to EVGA. The power supplies are suitable for use with Nvidia sli and AMD crossfire setups.
EVGA provides the models with a ten-year warranty. It is not yet known when the SuperNova 750 T2, 850 T2 and 1000 T2 will be released on the European market and at what price. In the United States, the PSUs are already available for $ 219.99, $ 239.99 and $ 279.99.
