European corona QR codes become valid in United Kingdom and Armenia

European corona proofs can also be used in the United Kingdom and Armenia from Friday, and vice versa. That has been decided by the European Commission. The two countries will be connected to the EU’s Digital Covid Certificate system.

The European Commission writes that it has decided that the corona QR codes of the UK and Armenia are ‘equivalent’ to the European corona certificate. This connects the two countries to the European system, which means that European QR codes, Armenia and the UK are accepted under the same conditions.

This means that travelers from EU countries can use their European corona certificate to gain entry to the two countries, and vice versa. With the corona certificates, users can prove that they have been vaccinated against, have recovered from or have tested negative for the corona virus. With the two additions, 45 different countries are using the European Digital Covid Certificate system.
