Energizer P18K Pop smartphone gets 18,000mAh battery and pop-up camera

Avenir Telecom, the French company that releases smartphones under the Energizer brand, has revealed details about the P18K Pop. The device with 18,000mAh battery has a 6.2 “screen without a notch and a double front camera that folds out.

The Energizer P18K Pop contains a Helio P70 soc from MediaTek, an octacore soc with four fast ARM Cortex-A73 cores and four economical Cortex-A53 cores. The device comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage. According to Energizer, 18,000mAh battery is good for 90 hours of calling, 100 hours of music listening or 48 hours of video watching. The device supports fast charging via the USB-C connection.

The phone gets a total of five cameras, three are on the back. These are cameras with a resolution of 12.5 and 2 megapixels. The 2-megapixel camera is used for depth measurement only, to simulate depth of field. It is not yet known what function the 5-megapixel camera has. The front cameras are hidden in the housing and fold out when used. It comes with a 16-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel camera for depth.

The 6.2 “screen of the Energizer P18K Pop has a 19:9 ratio and a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. The device is equipped with Android 9.0 and will be released in the summer of this year.

Energizer provides the specifications in a press release sent via email. The manufacturer will show the device for the first time at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​which starts on February 25. The price is not known yet.
