EKWB has released a new series of waterblocks for workstation GPUs. These are cooling blocks for Nvidia Quadro and AMD Radeon Pro GPUs. The waterblocks have a stainless steel top and will be shipped on June 23.

EKWB releases the water blocks under a ‘Pro’ denominator. The company is releasing water blocks for the AMD Radeon Pro WX9100 based on the Vega architecture. The company also comes with several cooling blocks that are compatible with the Nvidia Quadro RTX 8000, 6000, and 4000, and the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

The water blocks are made of nickel-plated copper and have a stainless steel top. The water blocks extend the entire pcb length and thus cool the GPU itself, the memory chips and the VRMs. The water blocks also have a single-slot design with an integrated I/O plate. Users therefore need to replace the standard I/O shield. The waterblock manufacturer also comes with corresponding backplates for the GPUs, which are made of aluminum and have a black finish.

The water blocks for the RTX 8000 and 6000 cost 250 euros each, while those for the RTX 4000, RTX 2080 Ti and Radeon Pro WX9100 cost around 190 euros each. The backplates cost 45 euros, with the exception of the backplate for the RTX 4000, which costs 40 euros. The products can be pre-ordered on the EKWB website, and are expected to ship on June 23. EKWB previously released waterblocks in this style for the AMD FirePro W9000 and Nvidia Tesla V100 and Quadro K6000.
