EK Water Blocks launches new custom loop water cooling kits

Water cooling manufacturer EKWB is releasing a new series of kits for custom loop water cooling. The Performance Series will be placed between the existing Liquid and Extreme Series. The complete kits consist of a cooling block for the CPU, a radiator and a pump.

The manufacturer presents the new Performance Series as ready-to-use water cooling kits that can be expanded later with, for example, a water block for the graphics card. There are three packages available; the difference between the EK-KIT P240, P280 and P360 is in the size of the radiator and the number of fans placed on it.

The parts that EKWB uses for the packages have been available separately for some time. For example, the Performance kits use the EK-Supremacy EVO water block for the CPU. That comes with mounting tools for all common AMD and Intel sockets from recent years. For the kits with 240mm and 360mm radiators, the manufacturer provides an EK-CoolStream PE radiator, which is cooled by 120mm fans with a speed of 1850rpm. The P280 kit comes with an EK-CoolStream CE radiator, which is equipped with two 140mm fans at 1600rpm.

All Performance kits come with a pump combined with a reservoir. The pump is the Laing D5 PWM, with a round water reservoir that can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. EKWB supplies 100ml of a new concentrated coolant, called EK-Ekoolant EVO. This must be installed by the user with 900ml distilled water. The EK-KIT P240 and P360 are available immediately. The manufacturer will supply the P280 variant from March 23.
