Eizo Introduces Two New 24.1″ ColorEdge Displays
Eizo has added two 24.1″ displays with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels to its range of products. Both displays come with Eizo’s ColorNavigator software and support 10bit color reproduction and feature a 16bit look-up table.
Both the ColorEdge CG2420 and CS2420 have an IPS panel with a screen diagonal of 24.1″. Eizo claims that both screens can display 99 percent of the AdobeRGB color space. In addition, both monitors have the option of 10bit color reproduction and they have a 16bit display. look-up table. Furthermore, the ColorNavigator software is included with both screens with which color temperature, black level, brightness, etc. can be adjusted. The CG2420 is slightly better equipped than the CS2420 and comes with its own calibration sensor. Also, the CG2420 offers already after three minutes of stable colours.
Where the CS2420 can display images with a maximum brightness of 350cd/m², the CG2420 can do this with 400cd/m². Both screens are equipped with a display port, DVI-D, HDMI and three USB 3.0 ports. The screens can be tilted 5 degrees forwards and 35 degrees backwards. They can also rotate 90 degrees and are adjustable in height by 15.5 cm. Both screens will be on the market this month, but when they will be available in Europe is unknown. The price for both models is not yet known.
