Eizo comes with 31.5″ monitor with UHD resolution
Eizo will launch a 31.5″ monitor with UHD resolution in September. The FlexScan EV3237 supports, among other things, picture-in-picture to view input from multiple inputs simultaneously on an image.
The monitor can display signals from up to four inputs simultaneously. If there are two signals, the user has the option to view one signal in full screen, while the other appears as a picture-in-picture in the corner. The monitor has two DisplayPorts, an HDMI input and a DVI connection for the input of signals.
Thanks to its 3840×2160 pixels on 31.5 “on the screen, the monitor has around 140 pixels per inch. The matte screen is an IPS LCD, of which users can set the saturation and color temperature themselves. The brightness can be adjusted to a maximum of 300cd/m2. and the contrast would be around 1000:1 at the panel.
The EV3237 also has a feature called EcoView Sense 2, which detects if a user is sitting in front of the monitor. If the user walks away, the monitor will turn off automatically, and will turn itself back on when he returns. The monitor will be on the market in September, but Eizo has not yet commented on the price.
