EA Releases Titanfall Companion App for Android, iOS and Windows

EA released the Companion App for Titanfall on Friday. The app can be downloaded for iOS, Android, Windows and Windows Phone and gives users, among other things, the option to use their mobile devices as an extra screen while gaming.

The app gives players an interactive map of the level in which they are playing while playing. According to the description of the app, a special filter allows users to access information about the map that is not available by any means. Players can also consult leaderboards during the game via the app. These leaderboards are saved so that they can also be viewed at a later date. It also provides information about all updates around the game, tips to play the game better, and contains all kinds of background information about the characters, weapons, maps, game modes and the Titanfall world. The Companion App can be downloaded for free from the App Store, Google Play Store and Windows Store.

The app will be released on the same day as the first DLC for the game. The Expedtition DLC expands Titanfall with three new maps. Players on Xbox One and Windows received the DLC on Friday, which will be released for the Xbox 360 in early June.
