EA releases Command & Conquer game for smartphones

EA has announced a mobile game in the Command & Conquer series. Command & Conquer: Rivals is an RTS game in which fast, short matches are played. The game comes out for Android and iOS.

The new game was announced during the EA presentation at the E3 games show. It was demonstrated by two professional gamers named NickAtNyte and InControl. The game takes place in a small world and brings traditional RTS elements to a small scale.

Command & Conquer: Rivals is the first C&C game since the browser game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, which came out in 2012. The last full C&C game was Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight in 2010. When the new game will be released is not yet known.
