EA puts pre-alpha version of Plants vs Zombies 3 in Play Store
EA seems to be working on a new Plants vs. Zombies game. A small group of users can play a pre-alpha of the game on Android, although many details about the tower defense are still unknown. It is clear that it will be free-to-play, with microtransactions.
The early version of Plants vs. Zombies 3 appeared in the Play Store without further announcement from the company, although the app is no longer available for download there. It seems that only US users were able to download and play the game. It is not known how many players have been granted access to the game in total.
Not much is known about the content of the game. The game is played in portrait mode, and again the aim is for the player to stop hordes of zombies with different types of plants. The screenshots from the Play Store mainly show the same plants and zombies that were also in previous parts. You can also see how there are microtransactions in the game that go up to $ 99.99.
EA has not yet officially confirmed that the game is coming. The first two installments of Plants vs Zombies were very popular and had millions of downloads on the mobile app stores.
