EA Play is part of the Game Pass Ultimate subscription starting November 10. On the same day, the Xbox Series X and S will be released. EA Play will also be coming to the Game Pass subscription for PC in December.

In early September, Microsoft announced that the EA Play subscription will be part of some Game Pass subscriptions, but it was not yet clear when that would take effect. Microsoft has now clarified that: the Game Pass Ultimate subscription will get EA Play integration starting November 10. That only applies to consoles, EA Play will only be available for Game Pass on PC in December. More than sixty games from publisher Electronic Arts are available through EA Play.

Microsoft has also put a faq online explaining how the integration works on PCs. Initially, users still need to use EA’s software and create an account there. Then the EA account must be linked with the Game Pass account.

If Game Pass Ultimate subscribers still have an ongoing EA Play subscription purchased through the Microsoft Store, it will be automatically canceled. The credit that gamers have on EA Play is converted into Game Pass Ultimate with a 3 to 1 ratio. Players who have an EA Play subscription that is still valid for three months will therefore receive one month of Ultimate. EA Play subscription conversion does not apply to PC gamers. PC players must also cancel their EA subscription themselves through Origin.com.
