EA announces new Need For Speed ​​game on Wednesday

Electronic Arts has put a Need For Speed ​​page online with a timer that counts down to 4:00 PM Wednesday afternoon. The publisher will then probably announce the first details about a new Need For Speed ​​game. That game will also be shown at gamescom.

The website only shows a timer and no further information about the upcoming Need For Speed ​​game. That a new game in the racing series is on the way was revealed at the end of July when EA’s quarterly figures were presented. In the explanatory note, the publisher said it would unveil a new part in the series in the run-up to gamescom. The game fair in Germany starts on August 20.

The Need For Speed ​​series has been around since 1994 and has gone through many changes in recent years. In 2015, EA rebooted the series with a game re-titled Need For Speed, with no further additions. Need for Speed ​​Payback was released in 2017, currently the most recent game in the series. Developer Ghost Games has been making the Need For Speed ​​games for EA in recent years.
