EA Access is coming to PlayStation 4 on July 24. It was already known that the subscription service would come to the console sometime in that month, but not exactly when. For $4 a month, players get access to a collection of games and trials of EA games.

EA has been offering its subscription services on Xbox One for nearly five years now, and on PC, in the form of Origin Access, for about three years now. The PS4 is only now being added to that list. However, Sony’s own counterpart PlayStation Now also already has some EA titles in its range.

The service includes older EA titles such as Titanfall 2, Mass Effect: Andromeda, but also Battlefield V. In addition, there are trial versions of ‘many’ new EA games that can be played for ten hours. After that, the full games can be bought with a discount and the saves from the trial versions are also included.

EA Access first appeared on the Xbox One in 2014. Two years later, the service came to Windows, in the form of Origin Access. Also available for PC is Origin Access Premier, a more expensive subscription with full access to all new EA games. EA’s subscription service does not use streaming, gamers must download and install the games on their console or PC.
