Dying Light 2 update adds photo mode
Techland released an update for its zombie game Dying Light 2 on Tuesday. The update adds a photo mode and new items to the game, among other things. Several minor bug fixes have also been made.
Photo mode is a feature that many players have been asking for. The function allows the player to take pictures, which can be edited in the mode itself. There are, among other things, different filters and ‘special effects’. The mode is available in the single player campaign and works in most cases, writes Techland† Some action scenes or poses may not be available due to complexity.
In addition to the photo mode, a new reward system is available in the form of the character Harper. He can be found in the Fish Eye Canteen, where he offers the player challenges and activities. When the player completes these, he gets rewards that match his rank. Furthermore, Techland has made several bug fixes and performance improvements. For example, the connection in co-op mode with the PlayStation versions should now be more stable.
Dying Light 2 was released on February 4, 2022 for consoles and PC. Within a month of the game’s release, five million copies were sold.
