Police officers in Dubai will start driving in Tesla Cybert trucks from next year. That was announced via the official Twitter page of the Dubai Police.

It is not surprising that the police in Dubai are adding one of the most striking and controversial cars in recent years to its fleet. For example, agents in the busiest city in the United Arab Emirates can also drive around in a Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Aventador, and an Aston Martin One-77. A Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S was recently purchased.

Although it is reported that the Cybertruck will be put into use as early as 2020, it will probably only be 2021 or 2022. In 2022 the most expensive version will roll off the factory tire, with a range of 800 km and a time of 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour. According to Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri of the Dubai Police, the Cybertruck will mainly be driving in the busy, touristy areas of the city.
