Dropbox releases Windows 10 app
Online storage service Dropbox has released a Windows 10 app. The app is suitable for PCs and tablets with Windows 10. The app will be available in the Windows Store from Microsoft in the next few days
It is possible to drag files from the Windows File Explorer to the Dropbox app. It is also possible to move files between the different folders in the app itself. The app also features a quick search function by just starting typing in the top bar without clicking the magnifying glass first.
The app also provides interactive notifications in Windows itself, so that it is not necessary to start the app to accept shared folders from others, for example. There is also integration with Windows Hello, allowing access to the app with fingerprint, face, or iris recognition. Windows Hello must first be activated in the settings of Windows itself.
Recent files can be viewed directly via the icon in the Windows taskbar. You can also discuss directly via the Dropbox app with other users of the service.
