Driver update reveals unannounced graphics cards Nvidia
Details have surfaced online of three unannounced Nvidia video cards. The names of the cards appeared in a driver update. These are three cards in Nvidia’s GeForce 900M series, one of which is not in the GTX or GT series.
A member of the LaptopVideo2Go forum found the references in the driver update, after which VideoCardz filled in the probable specifications of the laptop video cards. The GTX 960M, GTX 950M and GeForce 940M complement the already announced GTX 980M and GTX 970M.
The 960M and 950M would have a Maxwell GM107 GPU, while the GeForce 940M would have a GM108 on board. It is unknown when Nvidia wants to announce the new video cards, but because the drivers already have support for these cards, this will probably happen soon. The last video card for laptops that Nvidia presented was the GTX 965M two weeks ago.
