Download Driver For Nvidia *NIX Display Driver 173.14.12

In addition to releasing a new beta version of the Geforce drivers for the Windows platform, Nvidia’s developers have also thought of other operating systems. Version 173.14.12 of this Display Driver has been released for Linux x86, Linux amd64/em64t, Freebsd x86 and Solaris x86/x64. Support for Geforce 8600 GS cards has been added and some Opengl and SDL issues have been fixed. The list of adjustments looks like this:

• Fixed a problem with missing rendering in OpenGL Workstation Overlays.
• Fixed a problem with running some SDL applications and virtual terminal switching.
• Fixed a potential crash in nvidia-settings when saving to the X configuration file.
