Download Driver For Nvidia Linux Display Driver 260.19.29
Nvidia has released new *nix display drivers with version number 260.19.29. The drivers are available for Linux (32 bit), Linux (AMD64/EM64T), Solaris (x64/x86), FreeBSD (x86) and recently also before FreeBSD (x64). Specific installation instructions can be found on the individual pages. As of driver version 260.x, OpenGL, VDPAU, CUDA and OpenCL are no longer supplied with the driver, but will have to be obtained separately. In this release, support for some new maps has been added and some bug fixes have been made:
Release Highlights

- GeForce GTX 460 SE
- GeForce GTX 570
- Quadro 5000M
- NVS 300
- Fixed a race condition in OpenGL that could cause crashes with multithreaded applications.
- Fixed a bug that may cause OpenGL applications which fork to crash.
- Fixed a bug in VDPAU that caused it to attempt allocation of huge blocks of system memory. This regression was introduced in the 260.* driver series.
