Download Driver For Intel PRO/Wireless 2200/2915 1.0.1

On one of the pages at Sourceforge, the developers are working with Intel on Linux drivers for the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 and the Intel PRO/Wireless 2915, two network cards found in many Centrino laptops. The drivers work on Linux with kernel version 2.6.4 or higher and require the Wireless Tools for Linux† The version number has now arrived at 1.0.1 and has the following changelog:

• Fixed #559: iwconfig rate support (thanks to Florian Hackenberger)
  NOTE: Configuring a subset of rates that excludes mandatory rates by your AP may result in not being able to associate with your AP.
• Improved link signal quality calculation (thanks to Bill Moss)

• Added support for Intel PRO/Wireless 2225BG Network Connection adapter
