Download Driver For Auzentech X-fi Prelude rc8

The developers of Auzentech have released the eighth release candidate of their driver for their X-fi Prelude sound card, which brings several improvements for Windows XP and Vista. To download this driver it is no longer necessary to register with Auzentech, where you previously had to do that because of an earlier incident with their drivers. The list of changes of rc8 below indicates that various applications are now included, such as Creative Media Toolbox 6 and Creative Mediasource 5. It therefore looks like this:

RC-8:

• DTS encoding available in Vista.
• Driver enhancements in XP and Vista
• Default value mutes the MIC in all modes.
• The “Bass Settings” in Entertainment mode is available in XP.
