Download Driver For ATI Catalyst 9.10
AMD has released this year’s tenth Catalyst release for its ATI Radeon graphics cards with version number 9.10. The drivers are available for Windows XP, Vista and 7 versions, in 32bit, 64bit and Media Center versions. The new drivers are suitable for all Radeon models from the HD 2400 series; older maps rely on the 9.3 release. As usual, at the very bottom of this posting are the direct links to the pages where the available downloads can be found. New in version 9.10 is support for GPU acceleration for the drag & drop functionality in the Windows 7 video converter and for super sample anti-aliasing of the Radeon HD 5800 graphics cards. In addition, of course, they also contain the usual list of bug fixes, followed by a collection of problems that are already known, but for which there is no solution yet:

Resolved Issues for All Windows Operating Systems
- The video preview in Avivo Video – Basic Quality page in Catalyst Control Center no longer flickers while playing SD/HD Blu-ray titles
- Underscan/Overscan settings for TV can now be applied from the Catalyst Control Center – TV Properties Adjustments page
- The display mode page will now refresh properly when selecting another display from drop down menu in Catalyst Control Center with two displays connected in extended mode
- “Component Video Properties” is no longer incorrectly listed under the “Quick Settings” tab under Catalyst Control Center – Basic view in extended mode
- Changes to the Avivo Video Presets page in Catalyst Control Center can now be applied and will not revert back to the default settings
- The “Use Application Settings” checkbox in Avivo Video Presets page can now be unchecked in Catalyst Control Center
- Changes to the “All Settings” and “Basic Quality” pages in Catalyst Control Center – Avivo Video will now be retained after reboot
- Switching profile settings in Avivo Video – Basic Quality page now functions properly in Catalyst Control Center
Resolved Issues for the Windows 7 Operating System
- EA Sports startup logo screen for “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08” will no longer disappear or turn black
- Ghostbusters video game no longer flickers between desktop and game play when anti-aliasing is set to 8X and game resolution set to 2560×1600
Resolved Issues for the Windows Vista Operating System
- Enabling Screen Space Ambient Occlusion option in “Riddick 2 Dark Athena” no longer causes the game to fail under Multi-GPU configurations
- Severe flickering no longer observed while running 3D games/samples on specific HDMI displays with Tripod and Quad CrossFire enabled configurations
- Desktop flashing no longer observed after driver installation and reboot with systems configured with Radeon ASIC in the primary PCIe slot and Firestream ASIC in the secondary PCIe slot
- “Combat Mission Shock Force” no longer fails after a duration of game play
- Intermittent flashing no longer visible in Windows with ViewSonic VE150m displays
Resolved Issues for the Windows XP Operating System
- Catalyst Control Center: The DTV (HDMI) Pixel Format settings will now be restored when a HDMI display is hotplugged back after a DVI display is hotplugged and unplugged during the interval to the same port
- System no longer reboots or displays a black screen while executing ATI Stream applications with a particular combination of ASICs set as primary and secondary
- “Force maximum performance clocks” option is now available for the second ASIC in the Catalyst Control Center system tray when two R700 ASICs are connected
- Corruption no longer observed during Blu-ray DVD H.264/VC-1 content playback
- Different Presets/Basic Color options can now be selected under Avivo Video in Catalyst Control Center Advanced View
Known Issues Under the Windows 7 Operating System
- Display may go blank after resuming from hibernation during SD DVD playback in Media Center (MCE)
- calMemCopy() may cause a system with 2 ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2s to become unresponsive
- “World in Conflict” (DX10) might exhibit corruption when exiting from multi-player game with extended desktop
- “Tom Clancy’s HAWX” (in DX9 and DX10) might not output audio during game play on specific machines
- Corruption is observed while playing “The Witcher” video game on the ATI Radeon HD 58xx products
Known Issues Under the Windows Vista Operating System
- “ANNO 1404” (also known as “Dawn of Discovery”) may display black texture corruption instead of surface terrain for some ASICs
- A green line may be visible at the bottom when playing interlaced content
- PowerDVD might terminate abruptly when playing HD MPEG2 content in extended/clone mode
- The de-noise value in the Avivo Video – Advanced Quality page might not be set to proper default value after driver installation
- Corruption is observed while playing “The Witcher” video game on the ATI Radeon HD 58xx products
Known Issues Under the Windows XP Operating System
- Transcoding of AC3 files might not work, corruption may be visible in transcoded file
- Selection for “Add 720p50 in the Display Manager (PAL)” might be missing under HDTV Support in Catalyst Control Center – Monitor Properties for some ASICs
- HDTV optimized & custom modes for DFP/HDMI displays might fail to apply when displays are in clone mode for some ASICs
- PowerDVD may fail to respond during SD/Blu-ray DVD playback when using a HDMI receiver and the audio is set to S/PDIF speaker configuration
