Download Driver For ATI Catalyst 8.12 hotfix
ATI has released a hotfix for the Catalyst 8.12 drivers. The patch fixes some issues that occur when using two Radeon HD 4850 graphics cards in Crossfire setup under Vista. In addition, the performance of Directx 10 on multicore systems has been improved. The hotfix is available from this page for the 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows Vista can be downloaded and can only be used on systems equipped with two HD 4850 cards:
Catalyst 8.12 HOTFIX.
- Improves DirectX10 performance in various applications in multi-core CPU systems
- Resolves BSOD issues using dual ATI Radeon HD 4850 in CrossFireX configurations.
Note: The hotfix driver is only necessary if two or more ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphic cards are installed in the system with ATI CrossFireX technology[break]
