AMD has released a new update to its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition drivers. The drivers are only suitable for the HD 7750 and above, the HD 8570 and above, and the R5, R7, R9 and RX series cards. Only versions 7 and 10 of Windows are supported. For people using Windows 8.1, version 17.7.1 the latest version. Drivers for the first generation of Windows 8 are no longer made at all. For older cards, now labeled legacy or non-gcn, Catalyst Software Suite version 15.7.1 is the latest stable release.
Adrenalin Edition is the successor to Crimson ReLive Edition and adds, among other things, a Connect tab, which enables streaming to social media with easy editing options. In addition, graphics card settings can be adjusted without leaving a game through an overlay and the settings can also be adjusted via a mobile app. This update fixes some issues and includes performance improvements for Strange Brigade and F1 2018.

Fixed Issues

- Some DirectX 12 gaming applications may experience instability while recording with Radeon ReLive on system configurations using Radeon R9 290 and Radeon R9 390 series graphics products.”
- Cursor or system lag may be observed on some system configurations when two or more displays are connected and one display is powered off.
- Radeon RX Vega Series graphics products may experience elevated memory clocks during system idle.
- Strange Brigade may experience fps drops on multi GPU enabled system configurations when Enhanced Sync is enabled and Vulkan API is enabled.
- Flickering may be observed on some displays when Radeon FreeSync is enabled with Radeon ReLive enabled and recording.
- Video profiles may not correctly apply on web browser video content.
