The release of the Special Edition edition of Driveclub for PlayStation Plus subscribers has been postponed. Developer Evolution Studios says there are problems with overloaded servers that need to be solved first. The racing game has previously suffered from a delay.

The PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub offers access to a multiplayer mode and should be available in the US on Tuesday and in Europe on Wednesday. However, Evolution Studios has postponed the release of the Special Edition for an unknown amount of time, which means that the racing game is not yet accessible in multiplayer online.

According to the developer, there are unspecified issues with the multiplayer mode that are causing the servers to overload. These issues must be resolved before the game becomes available to PlayStation Plus subscribers. The release of the accompanying My Driveclub mobile app has also been postponed for that reason. Plus subscribers who download the game can play the single player mode.

Driveclub was originally supposed to be a launch title for the PlayStation 4. However, the game was delayed and Sony had to announce again in April that the release had been pushed back.
