Discord users can link PSN account and show game activity

Discord chat app users can link their PlayStation Network account and show game activity in their profile. It had been clear since May last year that the feature was coming and now it’s live.

PSN will be an option among the other integrations for all users in the coming weeks, Discord says. Users can then log in and if the privacy option for showing what game the user is playing is set to ‘everyone’, the Discord profile will show what users are playing on their PlayStation.

The feature is the first to come out of the partnership between Discord and Sony. Both companies announced that partnership last year. Then Sony also said that Discord would be available for PlayStation consoles, which is not the case now. It is unknown if and when that will happen.
