DICE shows new Mirror’s Edge title

DICE revealed a new game in the Mirror’s Edge franchise at Electronic Arts’ press conference on the eve of E3. The game, like the first part, has a clearly designed world with lots of white and high contrasts.

The first game, which came out in 2008, had to deal with disappointing sales figures, as a result of which a sequel was canceled in 2011. Still, publisher EA and developer DICE have decided to get to work on marketing a second Mirror’s Edge. Apart from the improved graphics quality, the images were very reminiscent of the first Mirror’s Edge.

There is no release date for the second part yet, nor is it known on which platforms the game will be released. The first game came for both the then latest generation consoles and Windows, so there is a chance that this game will come out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows. The fact that there is a new part in the series is not new, by the way. EA already announced this during the GamesCom of 2013.
