DICE Releases First Battlefield 1 Expansion in March
DICE has shown concept art of the first Battlefield 1 DLC. The expansion will be called ‘They Shall Not Pass’ and will revolve around the Battle of Verdun and the Battle of Soissons, both of which took place in France.
The Battle of Verdun was one of the bloodiest battles of the First World War. About 300,000 soldiers were killed there. In the expansion, DICE puts extra emphasis on the battle at Fort Vaux. Presumably this will be the location of one of the new playing fields.
DICE also pays attention to the Battle of Soissons. The battle was less bloody than the one at Verdun, but still more than 80,000 people died. He is special for the large-scale deployment of tanks, which are also an important factor in the game.
They Shall Not Pass will be available from March 2017 on all platforms where the game has been released. It includes four new playing fields, new weapons and new vehicles. It is unknown how much the DLC will cost. Users who have purchased a season pass will receive the expansion two weeks early.
