Diablo III: Eternal Collection launches November 2nd for Nintendo Switch

Blizzard has announced the release date of Diablo III for the Switch. The game will be released on November 2. This is the Eternal Collection, which also includes the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions.

It is possible to play the Switch version of Diablo III with four players simultaneously on one console. Multiplayer is also possible via Nintendo’s Switch Online service. In this way, players can participate in the Diablo Seasons, a competitive game mode. The game also supports cloud saves via Nintendo’s online service.

The Switch version of Diablo III also gets some cosmetic extras based on the Zelda games. For example, it concerns an armor set that is modeled after Ganondorf. According to Blizzard, the game will run at 60fps with a 720p resolution in handheld mode, and when the Switch is docked, the game will hit the same framerate in a 960p resolution. The game costs 60 euros.
