Diablo III Eternal Collection coming to Nintendo Switch
Diablo III will be released later this year for the Nintendo Switch. That is stated in an article that Forbes has put online. The official announcement was to follow on Thursday. The Switch version is called Diablo III Eternal Collection and contains the two expansions.
Four players can play together on one console and it is possible to play together wirelessly with four consoles without the need for an internet connection. Online multiplayer via Nintendo’s online service is also possible. The game will get some exclusive cosmetic items on the Switch, including an armor that makes players look like Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda.
According to the Forbes article, noted by reddit users, the Switch version includes the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions. Also, the game includes all updates released so far. The game originally released for PC in 2012 and later came to PlayStation 3 and 4, and Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Forbes probably put the article online too early and removed it again. Kotaku reports that Blizzard’s announcement will take place on Thursday. The Switch version of Diablio III would cost $ 60. A release date has not yet been announced, but the release would take place this year.
