Devil May Cry 5 Gets New Demo For PlayStation 4 And Xbox One On February 7
A new demo for Devil May Cry 5 will be released on February 7th. From that date it will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A demo already existed, but it was exclusive to the Xbox One. It is not known to what extent the new version will differ from the previous one.
Capcom reports via the official Devil May Cry 5 Twitter page that the old demo is no longer available for download. Xbox One users who have saved the demo to their console will still be able to play it.
The developer reports that the demo is ‘new’. Whether that means it contains new content or whether it is an expanded version of the previous demo is not clear. The old version contains a single level with a boss fight at the end of it. The player controls Nero, one of the main characters in Devil May Cry 4, and has access to four weapons.
Devil May Cry 5 is out March 8 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. It is a sequel to Devil May Cry 4, which was released in 2008. This wasn’t the last Devil May Cry game released in recent years, by the way. In 2013, a spin-off game, DmC: Devil May Cry, was released. This was developed by Ninja Theorie, which is known for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and Heavenly Sword, among others.
