How many 25-year-old games do you remember, let alone that they are still in development? The game Master of Magic is not only older than classics like Super Mario 64 and Full Tilt Pinball, but the game now even gets a new DLC with new options and many improvements.

Master of Magic is a fantasy game that came out in September of 1994. The game’s new owners have now released a new DLC for it with new features and quite a few tweaks. The DLC is for sale on GOG and on Steam for a reasonable price of 2.39 euros. Players get a better character builder, an improved diplomatic system, and extra spells and buildings. Also, the AI in the game has been improved and new difficulty levels have been added so that even players with 25 years of practice experience will have a harder time, and players have more options in building their own maps.

The DLC is called Caster of Magic. It was created by the game’s new owners. Publisher Slitherine bought the rights to the game last year. The DLC is based on an existing mod of the game, which was created by a player named Seravy. Slitherine works with him for that.
