Developer Until Dawn announces new horror game The Quarry

The studio Supermassive Games has announced a new horror game: The Quarry. The game is about the last night of a summer camp, in which everything goes wrong and the main characters have to fight for their lives. The game is yet to be released this year.

Supermassive Games announces the game with a trailer, in which we immediately get to know the protagonists in the game. Just like in previous horror games from the studio, you follow the story of a few main characters, who find themselves in an anything but pleasant situation. In The Quarry, the actors David Arquette, Brenda Song, Ariel Winter and Lin Shaye, among others, play an important role.

In the game, you follow the story of a group of camp counselors who celebrate the last night of a summer camp. Things go wrong there, although Supermassive does not yet show what exactly will happen. The developer does let us know that the choices of players will determine how the story goes and who makes it to the end of the game.

You can go through the story in single player, but also play together with friends. Online, the game can be played with eight players. It is also possible to play the game in local co-op. The game will be released on June 10 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Supermassive previously released the horror game Until Dawn. The studio then announced it would produce more horror games and then released Man of Medan. The Quarry is a new story that is separate from the studio’s previous horror games.
