An American developer has released a jailbreak for iOS 11.2, 11.3 and 11.3.1. The jailbreak works with separate exploits for users with developer accounts. It is a jailbreak that users must reactivate after each reboot.

To jailbreak, users must put an ipa installation file on their iOS device via the Cydia Impactor tool on desktops, according to Electra’s webpage. The paid developer account version uses an exploit in multipath-tcp, which succeeds more often on iOS devices than the vfs exploit for all other users. Eletra is with version 1.02, says developer Coolstar.

Users who install all updates and upgrades for their iOS device will be on iOS 11.4 in the stable version or in a beta of iOS 12. The public beta of iOS 12 was released two weeks ago. This means that iOS 11.2 and 11.3 have become older versions, which Apple no longer provide updates, so jailbreaks presumably continue to work.

There are limitations to the jailbreak. Download store Cydia works poorly on iOS 11.3, but there is a tool from Electra to install jailbreak apps. Also, users have to reset the jailbreak after every reboot. Coolstar previously released a jailbreak for iOS 11.0 to 11.2.
