Developer nDreams announces name Ghostbusters VR game, release in 2023
The Ghostbusters VR game will be called Ghostbuster: Rise of the Ghost Lord, developer nDreams has announced. The game should be released next year for the PlayStation VR2 headset and the Meta Quest 2. An exact release date has not yet been announced.
The name and release period are Monday by nDream announced via Twitter. Few details are known about the story, other than the players taking on the Ghost Lord and his army. Furthermore, the game offers various customization options for the player’s avatar, the developer says in an interview with YouTube channel Kinda Funny Games.
Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord lets players go on a ghost hunt in San Francisco in a first-person perspective. The game can be played alone, but there will also be a co-op mode, where players can go through the story together with three others. The game was announced earlier this year. At the time, it was only confirmed that the Ghostbusters VR game would be released for the Meta Quest 2, but later nDreams reported that it is also working on a PlayStation VR2 version.
