The specifications of four upcoming Core m processors from Intel’s Skylake generation have appeared online. The chips have clock speeds ranging from 900MHz to 1.2GHz with a Turbo that peaks at 3.1GHz. The GPU is the HD 515.

The details about the Core 6Y30, 6Y54, 6Y57 and 6Y75 have been listed by Cpu-world and the site expects Intel to divide the series into m3, m5 and m7 models, although this is not yet certain. In all cases, it concerns at least dual cores with 4MB L3 cache, an integrated audio DSP and HD 515 GPU clocked at 300MHz.

The chips also have support for two SATA 600 interfaces, ten PCI-e lanes, six USB 2.0/3.0 ports, lpddr3-1866 memory and an emmc 5.0 interface. The Core 6Y30 and 6Y54 support VT-x and VT-d virtualization, while the 6Y57 and 6Y75 also support vPro and Trusted Execution for business applications. The TDP is 4.5W.

The Core m-series of processors is intended for laptops with long battery life and tablets and hybrids. Earlier slides indicated that the Core m chips at Skylake should perform 17 percent better than the current generation. The GPU would even improve by 41 percent and the chips should also provide longer battery life.
