Details of OPPO foldable smartphones are coming out
Details have emerged of two foldable smartphones from the Chinese smartphone brand OPPO. Leaker Digital Chat Station has posted posts with some specs of the devices online.
The first of these is the successor of the OPPO Find N. It is a device like the Galaxy Z Fold series from Samsung, with a large folding screen on the inside. That screen is according to Digital Chat Station a 7.1″ display with unknown resolution. The current Find N also has a 7.1″ display. The battery is also of the same capacity with 4520mAh. A difference is in the soc that would have been upgraded to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
The second device mentioned is a smartphone that OPPO has not made before, namely a folding phone like the Z Flip from Samsung, Motorola razr and Huawei P50 Pocket. That has on the inside according to the information a 6.8″ screen with 2520×1080 pixels with a front camera of 32 megapixels. On the outside is a 3.26″ screen, larger than that of competitors. The phone has a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide angle lens. The battery has a capacity of 4300mAh. Digital Chat Station has often posted accurate information about unannounced smartphones in the past.
OPPO released its first Find N at the end of last year, but that phone only came out in China. It is unknown whether the brand is preparing a release in Europe with the new generation of devices. OPPO does release many devices, including high-end models, in Europe.
