Details of Intel NUC 11 Performance with Tiger Lake-U at 28W appear online
A specification sheet of the upcoming Intel Panther Canyon NUCs has appeared online. The barebones get Tiger Lake processors with a tdp of 28W and Intel Xe-GPU. Furthermore, the mini PCs have two Thunderbolt 4 connections and a 2.5 Gbit / s Ethernet port.
Versions with the Intel Core i7-1165G7, i5-1135G7 and i3-1115G4 are coming, according to the data that Twitter user HXL has put online. Panther Canyon is the code name of the Intel NUC 11 Performance models, about which information appeared at the beginning of this year. The updated NUCs would be announced this month.
The barebones can accommodate two DDR4-3200 SODIMMs and there is support for a maximum of 64GB of ram. Up to four screens can be connected. On the front and back of the barebones is a Thunderbolt 4 port with a USB-C connection. Furthermore, the NUCs have HDMI 2.0b, Mini DisplayPort 1.4, and a 2.5GBit / s Ethernet port. Intel provides the Performance NUCs with four far-field microphones with Alexa support.
Variants with heights of 38mm, 51mm and 56mm will be released. The tallest model has a top that acts as a wireless charger. The two largest versions have room for a 2.5 “drive of 7mm thick. When the Intel NUC 11 Performance models will be for sale and at what price is not yet known.
Intel would also come with the Phantom Canyon NUC 11 Extreme, in which a Tiger Lake-U processor is combined with a separate GPU with 6GB or 8GB of ram. According to FanlessTech , that model has been postponed to the first quarter of next year.
