Details of Intel Coffee Lake T desktop processors appear online
A list of clock speeds of Intel’s Coffee Lake T CPUs has been released. The T-processors are economical variants of Intel’s most recent processors for desktop PCs. The top model, the i9-9900T, runs at 2.1GHz with a turbo speed of 4.4GHz.
The list of clock speeds was posted online by Twitter user momomo_us. This American often manages to retrieve information about processors that have not yet been announced. The T variants of the Coffee Lake processors probably get a tdp of 35W and are clocked a lot lower than the regular versions and the K versions. The maximum turbo speed is close to the faster models, but at such speeds consumption will also increase.
The number of cores and threads of the T-CPUs is the same as with the K versions and the variants without a letter in the name. The T-gpus do have a gpu, unlike the F versions that appeared earlier. Intel has not officially announced the Coffee Lake T variants yet and it is unclear when they will appear. References to the T processors have been appearing for a long time. At the end of January, for example, there was an engineering sample of a Core i9-9900T on an auction website.
