An Israeli website has put specs online of the Huawei Watch GT, a successor to the Watch 2 from a year and a half ago. The Watch GT has a 1.4-inch round OLED screen with a resolution of 454×454 pixels, the site claims.

The entire watch has a diameter of 46.5 mm, Wisebuy claims. The thickness is around 10.4mm. The Watch GT has a 420mAh battery and can last up to two weeks on a battery, while it can last up to a week with the screen always on. With GPS on, the battery life drops to barely a day, according to the specs.

Because of that long battery life in standby, it seems that Huawei does not use Wear OS, the former Android Wear that is on the Huawei Watch and Watch 2. Perhaps it uses proprietary software for wearables instead. In addition to GPS, the watch also has a gyroscope, compass, altimeter and heart rate monitor.

Huawei would also collaborate with the company Firstbeat to integrate software that should serve as a sports coach. There will also be a TruSleep function to monitor the sleep rhythm, Wisebuy claims. The Watch GT, which Huawei developed under the name Fortuna, should come out in November for 1000 Israeli shekels, converted about 237 euros.

In addition to the watch, Huawei would also come with a fitness band codenamed Terra, equipped with a 0.95 “OLED screen and a battery life that also lasts up to two weeks. It is not the first time that information about the Fortuna and Terra has been released. They were also featured on slides recently released by the Israeli site Girafa.
