Details of DJI Osmo Mobile 4 gimbal with magnet mount appear online
DJI has released a fourth version of its Osmo Mobile gimbal to stabilize smartphones. The new model has a magnetic system for easy mounting of telephones. The gimbal, which DJI has not yet announced itself, would cost around 150 euros.
All details of the DJI Osmo Mobile 4, including a marketing video, have been put online by WinFuture. The site regularly publishes information about products that have not yet been officially announced. On images and in the video you can see that the new gimbal will get a ring and a holder for smartphones, both with a magnet for quick attachment to the gimbal.
Users can choose to stick the magnetic ring on the phone. This can then also be used to anchor the smartphone to a finger during normal use. If you don’t want to permanently attach an accessory to your phone, you can slide the device into a clip. It also has a magnet for coupling with the gimbal.
There is a joystick on the gimbal that users can use to make the smartphone move. There is also an ActiveTrack 3.0 function, with which the gimbal can follow people in the picture via software. The new model would also offer DynamicZoom, a software function for cinematic zoom effects.
Just like the predecessor, the new version can be folded, which should make it easier to take with you. According to WinFuture, the DJI Osmo Mobile 4 is mainly intended for iPhone users and the price will be around 150 euros. It is not yet clear when DJI will officially unveil the gimbal and when it will be released.
