Details and renders of the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphone appear online
Multiple sources have published the supposedly official renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. Specifications of the device have also been published. The device would get a Snapdragon 855+ and cost about 1500 euros.
A large number of images have been published by the German site WinFuture. Smartphone good Evan Blass also has a render put it on his twitter account. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a 22:9 screen with a diagonal of 6.7 “and can be folded in half along the length. The device would have a resolution of 2636×1080 pixels and the screen has a round notch for the front camera.
The foldable screen would be provided with a thin layer of glass, referred to by Samsung as Ultra Thin Glass. This layer should protect the screen much better than the plastic layer applied to the screen of the Galaxy Fold.
At the back of the device is a small screen, hidden under a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 6. It is a 1.06 “OLED panel with a resolution of 300×116 pixels. This screen has always-on support and can tell the time. and display notifications.
Samsung gives the Galazy Z Flip the type number SM-F700 and it is said to contain a Snapdragon 855+ soc, combined with 8GB of ram and 256GB of ufs 3.0 flash storage. There are two cameras on the back. It would be a regular camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera, both with a 12-megapixel sensor.
According to the specification list, there is a 3300mAh battery in the device and there is a fingerprint scanner on the side. The device has dimensions of 87.4×73.6×17.3mm when folded. Unfolded, the length increases to 167.9mm and the thickness is up to 7.2mm. The weight would be 183 grams.
WinFuture reports that the device will cost about 1500 euros and ‘probably’ will be for sale from 14 February. Samsung has not yet announced the device itself, but a lot of information about the Galaxy Z Flip has already appeared online recently.
