According to Bungie, Destiny now has nearly 13 million players. They have collectively put in about 872 million hours in the game. Recently, the first package with DLC content was released for Destiny, for a price of 20 euros.

On its website, the game maker gave some statistics of the popular shooter. Nearly 13 million players have created nearly 23 million Guardian game characters in total. How many of these are active was not disclosed. Since the game was released, 872 million hours have been played on Bungie’s servers. By the numbers, Destiny seems to be one of the most popular online games right now. According to Bungie, 500 developers are working on developing Destiny further.

The numbers are part of Bungie’s year-end update. According to the developer, the number of players is still increasing. The first DLC for Destiny was recently released: the package under the name The Dark Below was released earlier this month for a price of 20 euros.
