Dell starts selling new XPS laptops and all-in-one
Dell has started selling the XPS 14 ultrabook for EUR 1299, while the new XPS 15 laptop is available for EUR 1399. Dell has also released a new 27″ all-in-one, with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, for 1299 euros.
Almost all specifications of the new XPS laptops appeared prematurely on the internet, but now Dell has officially announced the products. The XPS 14 has a 14″ screen with a resolution of 1600×900 pixels and because the laptop is 20.7 mm thick and there is a choice of the economical Core i5-3427U or a Core i7-3667U, the manufacturer ranks the laptop under the ultrabooks.Weight is 2.1 kilos.Dell offers the model with up to 8GB and a HDD with additional flash disk, or with a full-fledged SSD and an optional 3G module.The GPU is the GeForce GT 630M from Nvidia.The starting price is 1299 euros.
The new XPS 15 has a 15.4″ screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. This laptop does not get ultra-efficient processors; you can choose between the i5-3210M dual-core or the i7-3612QM quadcore. Furthermore, a maximum of 16GB of memory is available. and Dell is supplying the model with a storage drive with a maximum capacity of 1TB, supplemented with a 32GB msata SSD or an SSD with a maximum capacity of 512GB.The notebook is available immediately, for a starting price of 1399 euros.
In addition, there is a new all-in-one from Dell in the XPS series. This all-in-one device has a 27″ screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Dell supplies the device with quad-core processors from Intel’s Ivy Bridge generation and Nvidia GeForce GPUs. The XPS One 27 has four USB 3.0 ports and can optionally be equipped with SSDs.The starting price is 1299 euros.
