Dell releases Alienware 13 laptops for prices from 1479 euros
Dell has started shipping its thin Alienware 13 gaming laptop with GTX 1060 GPU. All specifications and suggested retail prices are now known. The cheapest model with tn screen costs 1479 euros. The most expensive version with OLED panel costs 2079 euros.
Dell offers four basic configurations of the Alienware 13, with customers being able to customize some components such as memory and SSDs. The most expensive model has 16GB of RAM, the other variants 8GB. The RAM can be expanded up to 32GB on the four laptops.
The three cheapest models have a 180GB SATA SSD, the most expensive model has a 256GB PCIe SSD. With all models, customers can opt for an extra SSD, a larger SATA SSD or PCIe SSD, up to a maximum of two PCIe SSDs with a capacity of 1TB each.
The base model has a 13.3″ screen with a TN panel and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The two more expensive versions have an IPS panel with full HD resolution and for an additional cost of 250 euros Dell supplies an OLED touchscreen with those models. with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, which is standard in the most expensive version.
All four Alienware 13 laptops are equipped with an Nvidia GTX 1060 GPU. The housing of the laptop is 22mm thick and weighs about 2.6kg. The frame is made of carbon fiber and the top is made of aluminum. Dell announced the updated Alienware laptops in September. The Alienware 15 and 17, with larger screens, have been on sale for some time for prices from 1549 and 1749 euros.
