Dell provides new Latitude laptops and convertibles with thinner screen bezels

Dell has announced four new laptops in its Latitude series. This concerns two models in the 9000 series, and two versions in the 7000 series. The laptops are equipped with tenth-generation Intel CPUs and are available immediately.

The Latitude 9410 and 9510 have a 14″ and 15″ screen respectively. Dell also provides these screens with relatively small bezels compared to current models. The laptops are only available with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The more expensive variants have a 360-degree hinge and a screen with touch functionality.

The laptops come standard with a tenth-generation Intel Core i5 CPU from the economical U series, with an upgrade option to a Core i7 processor. The models also use the integrated GPU. The laptops have a maximum of 16GB of DDR4-2133 memory and a maximum of 512GB NVME SSD. The 9510 has a 52Wh battery as standard, although it can also be supplied with an 88Wh battery. The 9410 has a maximum battery capacity of 78Wh.

Dell also provides the laptops with a WiFi 6 radio from Intel. The 2-in-1 version of the 9510 includes an optional 5g modem, while the 9410 has a 4g modem. The 9410 also has a Thunderbolt connection as standard. According to Dell, the 9510 has two USB 3.2 Gen 2 connections of the type-C ‘with Thunderbolt 3’.

The Latitude 7310 and 7410 are positioned slightly lower. These models have a 13″ and 14″ screen respectively. The models all have a full-HD screen with an IPS panel. According to Dell, the 7410 will also get an optional 4k display, although this upgrade does not appear to be available at the time of writing. The laptops also have a tenth-generation Intel Core i5 CPU as standard. However, this can be increased to a Core i7.

Dell provides the 7410 and 7310 with up to a 512GB NVME SSD and 16GB of DDR4-2666 memory. According to Ars Technica, these models are also switching to soldered working memory, so that it cannot be upgraded by users. The 7000 models also have an optional ax radio for WiFi 6. The laptops have a battery capacity of 52Wh.
