Dell Posts Image of 2-in-1 Version of XPS 13 Laptop Online
Dell may have accidentally displayed a convertible version of the XPS 13 laptop on its website ahead of CES 2017. The design of the existing XPS 13 has largely been retained with the laptop, whose screen can be completely folded.
Other than the image on the Dell page and the model number 9365, there are no details about the 2-in-1 variant of the XPS 13 on the site. However, Geekbench results show an XPS 13-9365 that has an Intel Core m3-7Y30 with 4 GB RAM and Zauba lists the laptop with an Intel Core i5-7Y54 with 8 GB DDR4 and an Intel Core i7-7Y75 with 16 GB RAM. The laptop retains the narrow Infinity Edge screen bezels of the regular XPS 13 and apart from the hinges, there are few changes to the exterior compared to the non-convertible laptop.
Dell already supplied the XPS 13 with a touchscreen, but not yet as a version with a folding screen. With the upcoming model, the manufacturer will compete with HP, among others, which announced a new version of the Specter X360 convertible with narrow screen edges in October.
